Glitterman is a three-day community-driven celebration of radical self-expression, music, and connection that takes place each May in the stunning natural setting of Ardea Purpurea, near the Doñana National Park in Sevilla, Spain. Inspired by the spirit of Burning Man, this intimate gathering brings together a mix of local and international Burners for a weekend of creativity, dance, laughter, and shared experience. Mornings are filled with participant-led workshops and offerings, afternoons bring DJ sessions by the pool, and nights come alive with music at the tent stage, featuring Funktion-One sound throughout. The second night features live performances led by participants, creating space for raw, communal magic.
A unique aspect of Glitterman is the deep group bonding that emerges during the event. With a strict limit of just 75 participants, the experience feels both personal and collective — new friendships are formed, and existing ones are deepened through shared meals, dancing under the stars, and co-creating moments of joy. We are served top-notch cuisine at the Lodge, adding to the feeling of being cared for while living in community. Behind the scenes, the event is brought to life by the GLITTER CREW, an all-volunteer force, organized into 11 Teams, each responsible for a key part of the experience, from rituals and sound to art, food, comms, and more. These dedicated crew members work for months leading up to the event to design, build, and coordinate every detail, driven by love, creativity, and the shared mission of making Glitterman unforgettable. The event is organized by the non-profit Asociación Glitteratti, and the all-inclusive ticket covers meals, accommodation, and open bars, allowing everyone to fully immerse in the experience of community, participation, and play.
Although it may seem like we come together just to have fun, we know there's much more behind it. Having fun, of course—but why?
Glitter reveals a symphony of lights, where each sparkle contributes to the harmony of infinite shades.
In order to summon the highest expression of this union, we follow these principles:
We organize our activities without profit motives, so we never have to question our intentions, feel pressured, or be influenced by financial incentives.
We feel free to express ourselves, experiment, and open up within our community in a judgment-free environment.
We respect the physical, psychological, and emotional space of others. We recognize that every individual is different and honor their boundaries. As participants, we have a responsibility to ask before assuming and to actively communicate our own limits. Clear and warm communication is essential.
We plan our events with intention, ensuring they are special and full of meaning. The magic lies in doing things well, not in doing many things.
We don't seek to be served; we seek to contribute and create together. Participation is the root of our joy. We give our time, effort, and talent without expecting anything in return.
We are open to meeting new people, learning from them, and continuing to build our community.
We are driven by curiosity and a desire for continuous personal and collective growth. Let's evolve together.
We take care of our spaces and the people within them. It is sacred to us to leave everything better than we found it for those who come after us.
